X-Car Media are an appointed agent for Origin and are thus authorised to install the Origin b2 which uses the latest available technology, and has raised speed trap detection to a new level.

Origin b2 features GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite technology and has over 4000 fixed speed traps stored in an integral database.
The speed trap database/software may be updated using a PC with internet connection so there are no false alarms.

The backlit LCD screen display keeps you aware of the prevailing speed limit, reducing the risk of a £60 fine and three points on your licence (minimum) and voice alerts will warn you as you approach a trap.

Talex device

The Talex system works on the same basis as the Origin device but with a simpler display. The main information is conveyed to the driver by voice message. A PC is required to download and update the Speed Camera location database. Further details can be found at the Talex Web site.
